Te Paki
At the northernmost tip of the North Island, Te Paki Ecological District is a remarkably diverse and ecologically significant area. Its landscape features sweeping shrublands, unique gumlands, sandy beaches, dynamic dunes, extensive wetlands, and pockets of forest with species like pohutukawa, kawakawa, mahoe, and karaka.
