A bushy small tree or shrub that features large, leathery green leaves have toothed edges with a distinctive white buff underside. Throughout summer, it is adorned with clusters of white, daisy-like flowers on brown, fuzzy stalks. Typically reaching 3 meters in height and 1.5 meters in width, this shrub is commonly used in mixed plantings, for revegetation projects, or as a backdrop for smaller plants. Naturally found in coastal scrub and forest margins in the northern North Island, it thrives in sun or semi-shade, making it an excellent coastal plant and a good choice for hedging.
