repehinapapa
Arthropodium candidum | repehinapapa, small renga lily, dwarf renga
This charming, tiny native lily forms elegant clumps of soft green leaves. In late spring to early summer, it produces dainty, star-shaped white flowers with striking purple and yellow centers. Although its foliage dies back in winter, it reliably re-emerges in early spring, gracing your garden with a profusion of white starry blooms in mid-summer. These are followed by small fruits containing tiny black seeds. It's an easy plant that self-seeds, ideal for underplanting, edging, or adding fine texture to woodland gardens, preferring partial shade and moist, well-drained soil. It thrives tucked under rocks or alongside smaller ferns. Space plants 30-40cm apart for optimal clumping growth.
