An attractive, endemic herbaceous groundcover plant. It thrives in wet, shaded environments like gullies and stream sides with striking, elongated bronze-green to purple leaves feature prominent veins and serrated edges. This lush perennial makes a lovely addition to woodland gardens, ponds areas and makes an excellent ground cover or edging plant in gardens consistently looking tidy with little maintenance.
