A beautiful, fast-growing small tree, ideal as a specimen in gardens. Its foliage is particularly striking, with pale green leaves often displaying rosy pink undersides that are revealed by the breeze, and new growth tinged with purple. In spring, it is adorned with bunches of creamy flowers, followed by red seed capsules towards the end of summer. It is sensitive to moderate frosts and can also thrive in well-lit indoor pots,
